Treehouse Software selected by Snowflake for private preview of Datastream

We are pleased to announce that Treehouse Software has been selected by Snowflake for private preview of its exciting upcoming Datastream offering. This is perfect timing, because Treehouse Cloud engineers are working on a new release of Treehouse Dataflow Toolkit (TDT) Snowflake Native App. The new TDT offering is a Snowflake native solution that leverages Datastream for Kafka-native streaming of mainframe data to automatically created Snowflake target resources, such as delta tables, schemas, stages, etc. 

Datastream is a Snowflake-native, Apache Kafka-compatible streaming product, built to help teams make actionable decisions with the freshest data. It speaks the full Kafka protocol, so your existing producers and consumers connect with a config change, and topics land as governed Snowflake or Apache Iceberg™ tables inside Snowflake's security and governance perimeter. 

TDT Snowflake Native App is Treehouse Software's fully automated solution for AI-ready mainframe data delivery from Datastream pipelines to Snowflake. While TDT’s unique “delta-tables” approach offers comprehensive “history” for advanced analytics, the traditional need for up-to-the-second, current snapshots of mainframe datastores is also completely provided for. Adhering to Snowflake's best practices, JSON-formatted views are provided to work with current data, as well as fully-structured views which provide the more traditional look and feel of a SQL database.
