George Szakach, Founder and President

George is a Vietnam-era veteran and has been employed in various business systems software development and management positions since 1960. George joined Software AG in 1975. After seven years with SAG, George founded Treehouse Software in 1982 and shortly thereafter established its headquarters in Sewickley, PA (near the city of Pittsburgh). "I am proud to have put together a cohesive group of talented, cooperative, and dedicated individuals to make up Treehouse Software's staff and its management team", George says, adding, "The original Treehouse Software goal still remains: to be recognized for our quality software products, and excellent support and consulting services. People are constantly surprised when we tell them we are a global company with 700 customers, all high-profile companies plus many government, financial-services and higher-education sites. Over the past few years, migration from mainframe systems to Cloud computing has seen unprecedented growth, and Treehouse has continued to expand its products and services to capitalize on this emerging technology.
